Don't run your car fully on veg oil. Usually a mix of 50/50. I have heard on the long run (from a fellow white van driver) it starts to stick in certain spots in the engine. Im sure there were several other problems but I can't recollect what damage it caused.

"filtration is the key diesel is an incedibly good lubricator so all the internals of your pump + injectors are lubricated by the diesel. like dazzi says i'd run at 50/50 or even 70(veggie)/30 purely for the additives to stop it waxing up if you use pure veggie chances are when the 1st real frost comes it'll wax up clogg the filter pipes and pump then you'll either not start or stall and not start. the rest is purely cosmetic - exhaust smelling of kebab "
