"well what fun this has been after the issues i had on saturday with the Wilco Motorsave re-fitted my gearbox following having the clutch fitted they didnt put any oil in it and so of course this caused all the issues i have had!! So.. im now trying to source the Alfa 147 1.9JTD 6 speed gearbox so i can have a 6speed bravo. however for this i need the gearbox the link arms the driveshaft and the 6 speed selector plate and the lower gear leaver to the link arm. can anyone think of anywhere cheap to source one of these boxes? ive tried a few companys but seem to have had no joy! oh the fun and games!!!"

Try local scrap yards mate. Sorry to hear the problem you've had. So they didn't put any gear box oil back in? Its easy to tell if anything is wrong with my box as I have a metal gear knob. I knew something was up a few months back when it got too hot to touch

"i doubt that would stand up in any court they're skilled men!(apparantly) a lot of years ago 70's or something aguy who used to work in my garage left a floor trap up bus went on a school run a girl lifted the trap and fell got her hair rapped round the prop killed her right mess apparently - he's still in jail now. i'd deffinetly go and try for some sort of refund. honestly i'm well shocked at not putting oil in ."
