I've just bought some new wheels. They are 265/35/18 on the back and 235/40/18 on the front. Im worried the 40 profile on the front will look too thick. Is it safe to put 35 profile on instead? So it would be 235/35/18. Im not sure if this will effect performance or what?... some advice please

"i should of thought it should be ok mate only thing is just think that 40s are quite a hard ride and you feel the bumps alot more and risk damaging your wheels in very bad potholes etc and so on 35s i imagine this being worse and more of an uncomfy ride. "

"Cheers chaps. The special tyres i've ordered come from the Netherlands but unfortunately they don't come in 35 at the front so 40 it is. Im currently on 30 rear 35 front Phil and yes its like driving a mini cooper classic but more fashionable "

Dunno depends on the car. With supra's 40 is pushing in (too thick looking).
