Renault World Series 2008 - Silverstone

"Well what an amazing weekend gorgeous weather fast cars what more do you need? The majority of us departed Yorkshire at 7:00 friday and convoyed down to camp the friday night we finally arrived in Windmill farm after searching high and low for the Wittlebury site we gave up and pitched at the farm (seen as this was cheaper and better location). Friday night was a quite one with alot of us tired from the drive and it was late and it was early doors at about 2:00 - 3:00. Saturday morning was an early start with us all being woke up by Simon and Ellie-may (Chris's kids) so out came the pans and we all showed our Jamie Oliver like cooking outside skills! We met up with Shaun and watch a few of the races and we were joined by Emma pete and peter later in the afternoon. later that evening we all stocked up on wood with Chris and Kenny G filling the escort to the roof with wood and mine and niks smaller run to get some more (its not to spacious in my car). With all the cooking done and alot of alcohol consumed everyone was lively and having a good time. Kenny G seemed to believe he was some sort of rambo role model (see pic below) not to sure where it came from but was comical all the same. We had a few other random passers by bringing in very random points and questions for eg. ""Look at my magic thumbs??"" the night then ended with alot of us drinking the night away by the fire and we then ended with toasted marshmallos just to top off the camping feel! Sunday we were starting to feel rough alot of us went into the show for a few hours and left early avoiding the traffic i stayed till abit later and i believe emma pete and peter stayed till finish but i could be wrong.
