Bloody Old Drivers!

As some of you may know i have sold the R5 Turbo and i have bought a fiesta zetec s i was loving the car until thursday night when i took her indoors xmas shopping at the trafford centre.On the way back we were coming through chlorley and i reached a 3 lane round about. The 1 st lane was for the left turn off and the other 2 were for going straight on around the round about so i was in the 2nd lane at the lights then an old guy pulled up in the 3rd lane in a 4x4 to go straight on until the lights changed then half way round he decided to turn left and ploughed straight into the side of me taking the driverside wing out and also my alloy which didnt have a mark on them lol. Once he had hit me he carried on turning left and on down the road. I went after him and after half a mile manged to stop him. He got out of the 4x4 and asked what the problem was and i told him you have just hit me and he said no i havnt. Any way to cut it short the old guy didnt even know he had hit me and he said he didnt see me at the lights or when he changed lanes. I couldnt believe it these old people should not be on the road lol.

Any witnesses..... i live up this way i can come forward as a witness to sort your insurance claim out... if it helps pal.... the roundabout you on about is near the heartwood pub (left to go to Chorley hospital) straight to goto preston! I was there i saw it all..... wink wink!

Cheers karl. the guy has said he will pay for any damage which is fair enough but its really pissed me off lol the wheel is nakered never seen curbing like it the wing is abit of a mess nothing major major but going to take some filler to sort it. Just sourced some escort cosworth rims so going to get them instead of buying an orginal off ford as they want £225 for 1! At least the guy is paying for the new wheels and the repair job so think i am just going to buy a new wing as will never got the shape of the arch spot on again. I still cant believe he didnt know he had hit me. Yes shaun i went mad was going to flattern him but emma stopped me and she went for him lol. It was funny now i look back at it but not for the zetec.

Just spoke to the guy and he is not willing to pay for the damage and he is saying i went in to him put he said he has no damage to his car at all lol plus he doesnt have a witness and i have. If it was going to be cheap to do then i would pay but its going to cost £600 not including the wheel.

ya jokinchanged his mind now has he :evil: ..id try an screw his ass OR track his reg down go to his house and do his car over!! The reason he didnt see u is cus he is higher up than u and he obviously just pulled out without lookin..and police wonder why so much road rage goes on!

Thants what i said linz. Now he is saying that a hit him when i clearly havent as my damage starts half way down the door and right round to the corner of the bumper. I am going to pass it on to a claims company who said they will deal with it all. Wouldnt mind but only had the bloody thing 2 weeks lol
