got nabbed for speeding

well was driving up my dual carrige way yeasterday at about 60 in a 50 an the sneaky gets was hidding up a bankment and behind a tranny van. New they had got me but persnaly i thought it was wrong what they was doin so i turned round an pulled up nxt to him. An took some photos of were he were. Then he jumped out of his van an started taken pics of me an the car the . just didnt take him on even though my blood was boilin an was diein to say somthin. didnt think they could do that as there not clearly visable

you should find out that they cant do that as they are ment to be seen..

I fully agree with the sentiments. There are strict rules as to how these cameras should be placed and how the vans should be marked. Police in Wales recently used a horse box and an old knackered white transit. This clearly breaks the rules about the vehicle being clearly marked as a police camera van. There must be a speed camera sign preceding the site too. However as usual there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the regulations stating that failure to comply with these guidlines does not give the charged driver any defence.
