i was wondering what peoples thoughts were on the new model XJ and the XKR, 4.2 or the 5.0 as both are supercharged and i believe its 510bhp as standard and easy to get to 600.

or indeed any of the Jaguar model range (X-Type, XJ8, XJ6, S=Type, XK, XKR, XF, XJ)

from what ive noticed the XF 2.7D and the 3.0D are both mondeo engines
wich kinda makes sense considering they are part of the same group now. but ive noticed alot of ford stamps on the vehicles.

Assuming you mean the new xj then personally i prefere the xkr however if your talking the old xj then old school is better, but more costly on repairs as i have learnt with the 200!

I bet its quite costly to get the jag to 600BHP however as with the modern highly refined engines some aspects of tuning isnt as easy as it should be.

Its interesting to know about the mondeo engines! but surely that cant be right? its not really what you would want to know as a jaguar owner is it!!

i meant the old and new of the xkr and the xj.
as i like both, my only problem with the old xj is that whole, seeing where your driving thing as im short and stuff. lol and that bonnet is long

that's bad, you'd be well pissed off if you paid all that money for a jag to just get a ford! lol

and what about a booster seat? lol

I had an S class T Plate a few years back, an absolute beauty, went to Scotland and back in day, no trouble at all, apart from the wallet of course. Not sure what the new ones are like.
