Never heard of these before what do they do other then make the bonnet look buckled?

"Nice job! I was thinking about the same thing on my polo but thought it was unnecessary If you can get a good flow of cold air from the front grill over the top of the engine they can be really effective at reducing power sapping."

"i have to admit when i saw bonnet lifters i was expecting the hydrolic hinges that hold your bonnet up!! they look good though fella get a pic of the full car as im curious to see what they look like from the very front."

"i cant imagin these would be very difficult to fabricate your self? block of steel drill some holes in it....? is it realy just for the heat dispersment? or for looks aswell? as ive seen several on cars such as 1.2 corsas. 1.2 saxo's etc etc... was gunna do it on mine but if its only ment for high performance cars then dnt think il lbother... but i think it looks good"

"Yes Phil mainly for heat dispersion. Not everyone's cup of tea. I've personally only ever seen them on Fords. And have heard from people in the past saying passers by comment oi mate your bonnet's open..lol James will get some more pics uploaded as soon as.. "
