"Ok ive been looking into getting a mirror effect rocker cover on the 200sx as i have the nissan red-top engine the red rocker cover doesnt work too well with my blue layout! haha So i spotted a rare find on ebay last night of a mirror effect rocker cover to fit my car and to be honest it looks amazing very very shiney! Now i had a chat with dazzi on this and he stated ""as far as i know the rocker cover doesnt hold any pressures so i should be ok"" Now i thought this part would have been steel for strength but its actually alloy which has now made me think it may not be as strong as the current rocker cover that is on. Could this cause any problems from what people can think of? as it looks amazing but its no good to me if it knackers my engine in the process!!!! p.s i also found a new front wing for 30quid last night ca-ching "

"Honestly can't see it being a problem the majority of rocker covers nowadays are alloy anyway. you'll probably find the 'shiny' one you're looking at more than likely started life as a painted cover and someone has just had it shotblasted and polished.. Get it bought "

"pressure shouldn't be an issue providng the faces are clean and the gasket/o-ring is in pace correctly and tight. and they do look the dogs"
