What do you think of the following items for the stilo any good or not. is say yes to all...the exhaust in not sure about universal exhaust end up taking power away rather that giving it but the dump valve is a yes

Yes to all Paul...... back box wont take power away the only thing it will do is give a different note performance can only be affected if you put bigger/smaller system on like a straight through with decat pipe would gain anywhere between 5-8 possibly 10bhp depends on car...

it does it u have restrictions then it will..if u do not have the pipe work done properly then it will affect ya

A back box can take power off your car best bet for an exhaust get a full system pipe want to be 2.5" or more from the exhaust you might see some power gains but prob only about 6bhp maybe same torque...

The whole point of the box being universal is that it can go on any car without any problems.... the back box only muffles the sound of a exhaust system.... its when you start altering the diameter of the pipes from the manifold right through to the back box when it matters Example Original System - Back box 2x middle boxes and then Cat My system - Sportex 4.5" Oval back box with one box between that and then the Cat (removing one of the boxes means the flow is better hence a very slight improved performance) stick a decat and better performance to be had.... Universal back box - will only change the sound of the exhaust...... tried and tested....not read in a mag!

Universal really means = Does not fit anything to start with

Quite true Tom..... universal i.e. can be made to fit anything... :lol: :lol:

there has been a test in the past and it showed the 0-60 time was better lol but it was a tin can lol...BUT universal boxes sound rediculous!
