A remap will probably see you with 15hp max on top. Your clutch could probably take 50 more without problems. I know a lad who has a 150 shot of nos on his rover and his clutch is fine its the shifting fast that makes it fubard

I would think it will be ok. Mine is 12 years old and has had a 75 shot of nos with quick shifting. Time to worry if you smell burning though.

"to give you an idea mate mine was remaped above the clutches capability and it drove fine just meant you had to drive around the clutch judder say if your in 4th and you floored it then it would just slip. if you do use angel tuning or most companys i believe they will only map it to what the engine and dubbings can handle. How much is the mapping for your cars? I've been told my supra is unmappable due to being JDM

Yeah how much does it cost for a remap? Will it still pass a M.O.T if it is remaped? This geezer with a focus st has to unmap his to 225bhp for his M.O.T then back to 300 after it?
