Rust help needed

Hi guys and the odd few girlies i managed to get hold of a subframe secondhand seen as fiat charge £400 ffor a new one so here is the question how can i treat the subframe to stop it rusting through?

Whats your timescale I am pretty good at metal and live in salt water Could probably get you some phosphoric acid based stuff from work. This kills the existing rust and seals the metal fefore you prime it.

asap really how soon could u get it?
