I would say the same as shaun and dazzi if your clutch was slipping mate u would know about it. You would not start to slow down with a gerk. My megane when i got it kept slowing down and made a bang. It was the rear drums. I think you should do what dazzi said TAKE OF THE BATTERY PRESS THE BREAK!!!! If that fails mate take it to the local garage and ask them to take a look most times it is free if u say ull get it fixed there when u get paid lol

"Well i did as dazzi suggested and reset the ECU. i think i didanyhow. anyway since then i aint felt it. so thanks for the tip Dazzi. NOW though. this has only started a day or 2 ago. but when im setting off. it feels like the car doesnt want to go. ive got to get the revs up a bit more. and slowly raise the clutch. although once im on the move it seems fine i put my foot down and it pulls. you can feel it pulling. Revs and speed are fine i mean it doesnt rev and go no where as the revs pick up the speed picks up as they should do. What could this be then lol. as as before i think it is clutch lol"

"NP Phil. I don't think its the clutch if it was when your on the move it would still slip. I think because your ECU was a little lumpy it may have had more power low range but now its been reset you may have more power top end now. Just sounds like its ECU map has been corrected to me."

What plugs you got? If Iridium's don't re-gap them. (Regap means adjusting the gap of the tip to give a better spark)
